Good Ideas

The world we live in is full of great ideas....many philosophers, thinkers, inventors, scientists, full time moms, full time dads, teachers, etc... pen down, or come up with all these brilliant thoughts, and ideas...the library is full of self help books, books on how to cope with daily stress,  books on how to deal with your anxiety, books on how to handle your stress at work, books on how to become more productive, books on how to deal with your procrastination, books on how to fix the economy, books and books and more books....Many books on the secret of  how to become a billionaire,  how to become a millionaire? forget about this one, it is easy to accomplish, it doesn't need a book ! A billionaire on the other hand?  you definitely need a book on it...

Many people  buy these books, few of them finish reading them....

The world is full of geniuses, who are coming up with amazing ideas, important ones, but they keep these ideas and their genus mostly to themselves.

All these good ideas would end up only good ideas or would die with the genius who penned or uttered them.

In other words good ideas are powerful , but good ideas do not change the world.

Change comes from institutions. This is to say that change only comes when a group of people come together and create an institution to  implement those great ideas.

Back on the Blog

Wow I can't believe that I haven't been on the blog for all this time. So much has changed since the last post. I am in Beirut right now. Elia has kids, Carla's have beautifully grown.

Here is the new challenge...I have to post on the blog regularly....Maybe  it will amount to something with time....It would be interesting to see all the physical, psychological, professional changes that will take place as we move on.

For this to make any sense, I need to be a regular on the blog. Although, I am not  good with commitments but It is worth trying.
